Microsoft Surface Computing
This techy video from Techcrunch says it all. Surface computing is the next level. We saw something close to it on CNN’s politics programs as they covered the Presidential Primaries earlier this year. This is taking IT to another level.I hope we will soon be able to translate this technology to the operating theater too.
It is not wishful thinking to hope that such a brilliant technology can be translated to medical science. The possibilities will one again be endless: real-time imaging, electron microscopy and digital images at the click of a button and even tissue morphological diagnosis while the surgeons are still operating.
These days, no piece of technology makes me marvel, afterall we have gotten to a stage where we are imaging our brains in real time. I just hope the technology will rapidly be transfered from hi-tech to hi-health sectors and used to save lives.
